Psychology Forward is an independent consulting practice, providing comprehensive psychological and educational services. Founded in the United States Psychology Forward has expanded its footprint to provide high quality services to the international school community. Through a combination of Telehealth and travel-to-location modes of service delivery, Psychology Forward offers comprehensive services to the international community.

Founder and Executive Director of Psychology Forward, Dr. Joseph Graybill is an American Psychologist, licensed in the state of New York. Dr. Graybill completed a Master’s degree at Columbia University and Ph.D. at Fordham University. He has over 20 years of experience working in private practice, public schools in the United States, and at the Anglo-American School of Moscow.

Associates at Psychology Forward are experts in the field in psychology, counseling, education, and speech/language. They hold a Masters’ degree at a minimum, are licensed in at least one state in the United States within their respective discipline, adhere to ethical guileless outlined by their professional organizations, and have an expertise in delivering high quality services to diverse populations.

Remote Psychological Counseling 

Psychological counseling is provided within the framework of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to treat anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties and social challenges.

Psycho-Educational Assessments of learning and other childhood disabilities through the investigation of:

  • IQ/Cognitive Functioning:
  • Academic achievement/Educational levels in reading, writing, and math
  • ADHD and Executive functioning
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Social and emotional functioning

These assessments inform eligibility for special education services (Learning Support) in schools and often result in the implementation of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and 504 Plans.

Consultation to schools:

  • Program evaluation for special education needs
  • Mental health and crisis intervention
  • Staff professional development and parent training workshops
  • Supervision to school psychologists and counselors

Speech and Language Assessment and Therapy (Remote) for the diagnosis and treatment of:

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

Once a psychological counseling appointment session is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 48-hours advanced notice of cancellation (week-ends do not apply). This policy is representative of the industry standard for doctors within the psychology profession. Clients will be charged for missed or cancelled sessions if at least 48 hours of notice is not provided, as these days and times are reserved specifically for you. 

Psychological Assessments, require a 500 Dollar deposit. Clients who wish to cancel an assessment must do so within 2 week of the scheduled testing session. Deposits will not be refunded for Cancellations of an assessment with less than 2 weeks of notice. 

Do you accept insurance?

Dr. Graybill and Associates at Psychology Forward are Not insurance providers. Services provided through Psychology Forward are considered “Out-of-Network”.  If you are interested in insurance reimbursement, please contact your insurance company to ascertain if you are eligible for “Out-Of-Network benefits”.

Upon request, Psychology Forward will provide you with a “Super Bill” which will reflect a diagnosis (if one if rendered), a statement of billing for the services which are rendered, with appropriate CPT codes. Once this “Super Bill” is issued, it will be your responsibility to submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement, if you chose to do so. 

How do I pay for services?

All services can be paid with major credit cards using Square Processing. Your credit card is kept on file and encrypted to protect your privacy.  Payment may also be rendered with Paypal and a bank transfer. If you choose to pay with Paypal or a bank transfer, you must pay in advance for the service. 

Package plans are offered in some instances depending on need and scope of services. Please inquire if a package plan best suits your needs.

What licenses do you hold?

Dr. Graybill is a licensed, doctoral level psychologist. All associates at Psychology Forward are fully licensed in at least one state in the United States to provide appropriate psychological counseling and/or psycho-educational assessment services.
